Getting wired

Don't look for this in Brooklyn, although you might find something similar. I took this photo on a recent trip to Cancun, Mexico. The area was heavily damaged by Hurricane Wilma in October of '05. While out looking for photos, I came across a baseball field that was being used as a staging area for electrical equipment. The field had thousands of glass insulators and huge coils of wire. The afternoon light brought the glass to life. You can see more of these photos on my PBase site.
